✨ THE GOSPEL LINE — PART 2: Grace Stepped In
Share
The Fall - But Not the End
In the beginning, God created a perfect world. Adam and Eve walked with Him freely. No shame, no fear, no separation. Humanity was made for closeness with God.
But sin entered the story.
Temptation whispered.
Doubt crept in.
And for the first time, mankind chose our way instead of God’s way.
The result was devastating:
-
Separation from God
-
Brokenness in the world
-
Death entering creation
But even in humanity’s worst moment…
God did not walk away.
Grace stepped in.
Right there in the Garden, God made a promise. A promise that a Savior would come, One who would crush the enemy and restore what was lost.
“He will crush your head…”
Genesis 3:15
This is the first prophecy of Jesus in the entire Bible.
The Fall was the moment sin entered but it was also the moment redemption began.
🌿 WHAT THE FALL MEANS FOR US TODAY
We all know what brokenness feels like.
Shame. Regret.
Trying to fix things on our own. Engaging in toxic acts that we think will make us feel better but instead we feel worse. Broken.
Feeling far from God.
But the Garden teaches us this truth:
God comes looking for us even when we hide from Him.
He came searching for Adam and Eve.
And through Jesus, He comes searching for us too.
✝️ GRACE IS A PERSON — AND HIS NAME IS JESUS
The promise in the Garden was fulfilled at the Cross.
Jesus came to:
-
Take our sin
-
Heal our separation
-
Restore our relationship with God
-
Defeat the enemy
-
Offer eternal life
Where sin entered, grace overwhelmed.
What humanity broke, Jesus restores.
And this is the heart of the Gospel.
🙏 HOW TO RECEIVE GOD’S GRACE
If you want to return to God — He is already reaching for you.
You can pray with sincerity:
“Jesus, I need Your grace.
Forgive me of my sins.
Restore my heart.
Make me new.
I believe You died and rose again,
and I give You my life today.
Amen.”
